Why: Vivid threads perfectly placed conjure up all sorts of birds and beasts from curious sparrows to perky finches to serenely swimming seahorses. Ruth uses a variety of fibers, colors and techniques to create these gorgeous velvety wonders. And her crocheted critters are awfully cute too!
